Impressions: After using the Ice Bay gloves for a couple years, we were extremely excited to receive a pair of the Pro Waterfowler gloves. These gloves have a Max-4 camo pattern, made to blend with most waterfowl habitat. The fleece lining makes them extremely comfortable and the curved finger design gives your hand a relaxed unstressed feeling. Unlike the Ice Bay gloves, these came equipped with a velcro wrist strap to keep them in place and help keep warmth from escaping. The entire palm side of the glove has grip, minus the trigger finger which would make shooting with the gloves on much easier.

Field Test: On the water these gloves performed very well. The neoprene kept us 100% dry, while the curved fingers allowed us to have good dexterity when needed. The fleece lining was especially nice on frosty mornings; it made it easy to slide your hands in and out of the glove, and helped keep them warm. I really liked the velcro wrist strap. Most of the time I left it loose enough so it was unnoticeable. However, on rainy days I would tighten them up so that it was easy to slide the ends of the gloves inside the cuffs of my jacket, to insure water would not run into them. With 70 plus days of hunting, we really put these gloves to the test, and were very pleased with the results.

Conclusion: While many gloves in the industry claim to be waterproof, this is one pair that I can say is truly 100% waterproof. These gloves are not the warmest gloves money can buy but for normal hunting weather they work well. They are not as bulky as many other gloves and will keep you dry on the wettest of days. I highly recommend these gloves to anyone that wants a high quality waterproof hunting glove.
