Weather you are in the boat, the duck blind or back at the camp after a day of hunting, you need to know your gun is safely secure. After a scare in the duck blind with some unsecured guns the guys at Gun Grabber knew something needed to be made that could secure a gun safely, but not impede with the use of the gun. First Impressions: The Gun Grabber is one of the few vertical gun holders on the market. It is all black and it’s made of thermoplastic rubber and molded nylon. When you hold it in your hand it is very compact and solid with little to no flexing. The gun grabber features for holes where it is held to the wall with four screws “Included when you purchase.” It can also be held with a ratchet through two slots on either side. The Grabber also comes with a bottom piece where the guns stock can rest.

Field Test: Installing the Gun Grabber is a breeze. Four screws hold the top piece and 2 holes hold the bottom. If you are setting this up in a duck blind or deer stand the bottom piece isn’t absolutely necessary. If you are setting it up in a closest or an area you want to keep the gun up off the floor the bottom piece works perfectly. Per the instructions included, to install a gun, use an upward motion and place the barrel throughout the “V” of the Gun Grabber. Once your gun is in, slightly pull down on the gun, this allows the rubber to grip the barrel and lock it in place. To remove the gun simply pull up and out.

We tried every gun we owned in the gun Grabber and they all were held securely in place. To name a few we tried 20ga, 12ga, Remington model 700 .308, and a 22 caliber rifle. All of these guns fit. This proves the Gun Grabber is perfect for a wide variety of firearms. If you are using a gun that has a scope, simply turn the gun around so the scope is facing away from the wall.
